Our Services
Mental Health
We offer mental health services to all members of the community, focusing primarily on the needs of ethnic minorities and the Spanish speaking populations. We integrate cultural awareness practices into our evidence based approach.
Substance Abuse
Compostela educates clients on the impacts of substance use, and offers substance abuse services for those experiencing addiction, using cognitive behavioral techniques.
Anger Management
This is a 12-15 week evidence based program. This is an interactive program providing the client the opportunity to actively engage and enhance their skills in self-awareness.
Batterers Program
This program is designed to meet the needs of community members by helping them navigate these complex situations, and establishing self-empowerment through a strengths based-approach.
Community Health Workers
Our goal as CHW's is to address mental health concerns in the underserved communities and act as a bridge between affected individuals and available resources. We also offer a 100 hour comprehensive training designed to meet the specific needs of community members in Taos County.
Social Work Internship
Compostela has arranged to serve an internship organization for Social Work students from New Mexico Highlands, New Mexico State, and Western New Mexico Universities. Both Bachelors and Master students have been accommodated. Micro, mezzo and macro field experiences have been provided for these student interns.
